Maundy Thursday at the vineyard
Maundy Thursday remembers the final evening Jesus shared with his disciples before the crucifixion. On that night, Jesus gathered around a table, shared a meal, and gave his followers a new commandment: “Love one another as I have loved you.” The word Maundy comes from the Latin word for “commandment,” reminding us of Jesus’ call to love and serve one another.
We invite you to remember this sacred moment of Holy Week with us at Maundy Thursday at the Vineyard, a reflective service held at Britt’s Wine and Dine. Around tables, we will share scripture, prayer, and communion as we recall the meal Jesus shared with his friends.
Light snacks, water, and tea will be provided. Guests are welcome to purchase additional food or wine if they wish. All are welcome.
